Congratulations to our graduands and alumni from the class of 2020, 2021 and 2022 who will be celebrating and receiving their undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral awards today, 20 July, tomorrow, 21 July and on Friday, 22 July at the iconic St. Mary’s Stadium.
The stadium, with its size and amazing facilities brings our university community and guests together for a memorable occasion.
Messages of congratulations from staff
A couple of weeks ago, a call was made to staff to record a congratulations video message for our Graduands. The response was overwhelming from the staff community, with congratulatory messages recorded in various languages. You can watch and listen to the messages via our YouTube channel.
Useful information:
for staff attending Super Graduation
- Only staff who have registered and confirmed their attendance can use the free shuttle bus from Highfield Campus to St. Mary’s Stadium. Alternatively, they can also make their own way to the stadium.
- Staff rota’d to work during Super Graduation will be provided with food and refreshments.
- Please wear smart but comfortable clothing and shoes. Casual summer wear such as dresses and shorts are also allowed.
- T-shirts will be provided to those in Event support roles.
- Private First Aid team will be on-site and available if needed.
for staff working on Campus or remotely
- On campus livestreaming: For anyone who does not have a ticket or is unable to attend the celebrations at St. Mary’s stadium, all graduation celebration will be livestreamed to screens in Building 38, and Nuffield Lecture Theatres.
- Remotely: For staff unable to attend and working remotely, all graduation ceremony will be livestreamed via the Clarity platform to our Chinese and UK/rest of the world audiences. The livestreams will start promptly as soon as the celebrations start.
Our Corporate Communications Team will be out and about throughout Graduation capturing the moment for our social channels. You can share any Graduation photos with colleagues using #WeAreUoS.
Staff and graduands can also use the Snapchat filter to share Graduation moments at St Mary’s Stadium, Highfield or Avenue Campus.
