Fighting against highly experienced and skilled student-athletes from universities across Europe, the pair represented the University of Southampton at the competition in Lodz, Poland.
Isra secured a podium place and medalled with an impressive bronze in the female 46kg division. Oliver placed fifth over the week in his European level debut.
Oliver said: “I would like to thank the University for all their support and of course the two clubs that have led me to where I stand in Taekwondo today: Southampton University Taekwondo Club (SUTKD) and LMC Taekwondo. I look forward to hopefully joining the athlete bursary at the University next year to further exploit my capabilities and results in the sport.”
