New technology to support hybrid meetings has been installed in meeting rooms across the University. This is another step toward equipping our workspaces with the right equipment to support effective future ways of working.
What has been introduced?
The Future Ways of Working (FWoW) pilots trialled technologies such as Teams Rooms devices and videobars to support quality hybrid meetings. We have worked closely with iSolutions, Professional Services and Faculties to identify priority meeting rooms to install this hybrid meeting equipment. These rooms can be booked via the current process.
Training and Guides
We have been working closely with our external supplier to provide training sessions for the teams who support the administration of these rooms. However, we are running some additional sessions on the Highfield campus on 24 August, which are open to all. If you’re interested in attending, please complete this form, and the programme team will be in touch. Additional training sessions will be organised later this academic year.
The iSolutions team have also provided helpful guidance on how to use the Teams Rooms devices.
