Invitation to join active travel study

What makes our journeys a pleasant experience? How can we make active travel more appealing? Which bit of your commute is unsatisfactory?

Join the AutoTrust Project – Journey Probes Study to find out. The AutoTrust research team is on a mission to discover how situations, perceptions, senses and events have a positive or negative effect on our daily journeys, and is seeking participants to help them.

Over the course of the study, you’ll use a playful design probe toolkit to record your journeys through tools like journals, maps, stickers and photos.

Students and staff are invited to take part in this exploratory study to help us understand different types of everyday travel experiences, from commuting to leisure. As part of the probe study, a kit or a digital application will be handed to participants over 14 days to record their journey experiences. For more information, the participant information sheet link is provided in the survey below.

Please register your interest by completing the survey at the following link: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=-XhTSvQpPk2-iWadA62p2AFCrNwSmeJLhCmGoxKqLZFUM1FZM01IOVE1N0dMUDZZVVNIOFhCMU5ISS4u

Once the form has been filled out, the AutoTrust research team will contact you about your participation, and a time will be arranged to collect your customised probe kit for the study.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.  The project team is looking forward to hearing from you.
