26 September – How to apply to be a National Teaching Fellow (NTF)
Join three of the University’s current NTFs, Professors Simon Kemp, David Read and the most recent winner Professor Kamil Zwolski, in this online event for anyone wanting to know more about the application process.
This prestigious award is regarded as the highest level of professional recognition of excellence and innovation in all aspects of education.

This was such a success in 21/22 that CHEP are continuing with these regular morning online sessions to help you focus on writing tasks.

19 October – Using Threshold Concepts to help students ‘get’ difficult ideas
This in-person event will introduce the idea of threshold concepts and provides strategies to identify and address these concepts in teaching and learning activities in your subject area.
31 October – Introduction to EndNote reference management software
This is a brief in-person introduction to the reference management software EndNote.
