Building 38: Terrace reopening 26 September
This academic year the Catering team is delighted to announce the re-opening of the Terrace Restaurant (formerly known as the Staff Club) in Building 38. Serving a variety of hot meals and salads daily at affordable prices and skilfully prepared by its talented team of chefs, the Terrace Restaurant will be open from 26 September – Monday to Friday 11:30 until 14:00.
The Arlott will continue to serve barista prepared triple certified coffee along with a range of delicious cakes, pastries and lighter lunch options.
Back by popular demand, the Blue Room will be offering a brand new menu available for pre-bookings only, providing an exclusive space for entertaining guests and a fantastic fine dining experience on campus.
If you haven’t yet had the chance to visit over the summer, come down and see the new refurbished seating areas offering a social hub for our community and the perfect space to meet with colleagues during your working day.
Boiler House: opening 23 September
The Catering team is also excited to announce the opening of the Boiler House Bar at Wessex Lane halls of residence this September. Providing a fantastic, shared space for students to meet, the kitchen and bar will be open Monday to Saturday between 14:00 and 20:00 serving a range of soft and alcoholic drinks and hot and cold snacks. Coffee vending will be available 24/7. To support our environment and community, pre-packaged retail items from across our 9:00 – 17:00 Grab and Go outlets will be collected at end of service and sold at a reduced price to students.
