The University of Southampton is celebrating climbing another place in the Guardian University Guide 2023 to 16th, with 13 subject areas in the top 10.

President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mark E. Smith, said: “We are absolutely delighted our University has risen in the Guardian University Guide to number 16, retaining our position in the top 20 for the second year running.
“The Guardian’s Guide is a particularly prestigious endorsement as it is based on education-related measures and therefore underlines our commitment and dedication to delivering quality education and a positive experience for all our students. I’d like to thank everyone across our University community who has contributed to this success.”
