To recognise National Inclusion Week 2022 we are launching our new suite of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion online bitesize learning. The theme for 2022 National Inclusion Week is ‘Time to Act: The Power of Now’, and investing time in your ongoing learning to increase awareness of diversity and inclusion is an important action we can all take.
Our mission is to create an inclusive university community where everyone feels they belong. We all benefit from a more open and inclusive culture. Research shows that diverse and inclusive organisations perform better; teams are more engaged, have a greater sense of wellbeing and can unlock new levels of creativity and performance. Yet diversity does not equal inclusion. We all have a part to play in building a safe, open, supportive and inclusive environment. What is covered by the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion online bitesize learning modules?
The new suite of interactive online EDI modules includes a variety of topics. You can choose to complete one online module, a few or the entire course. Each course will take between 10-20 minutes, so is easy to fit in your busy schedule.
