The inaugural meeting of a new Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise (KEE) Community of Practice is taking place on Wednesday 26 October, 14:00 – 15:00.
Anyone who is undertaking knowledge exchange/enterprise activities within the University, irrespective of their job pathway or description is invited to join this event and become a part of this new network.
“I am delighted that this new community is being set up to better connect and support Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise staff. Recent results from exercises such as the Knowledge Exchange Framework and the impact cases in the Research Excellence Framework have shown the quality of knowledge exchange and enterprise here already at Southampton. The triple helix description of our new strategy signals how this KEE work sits alongside the other key elements of our University, enhancing our already strong performance in this area will be an important contribution to meeting our strategic goals.” – Professor Mark. E. Smith, Vice Chancellor, University of Southampton
The exact purpose and operation of the community will be agreed at the first meeting in October, but the intention is that it will be led by staff engaging in knowledge exchange and enterprise (KEE) activities and the meeting content will be determined by the needs of the community. This network’s activity will complement the work of the University’s Business and Industry Community of Practice.
To join the KEE Community of Practice launch meeting, please sign up using Staffbook.
