The Nurture-U online survey is now open to undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Southampton. By taking part, you can make a difference to student mental health and wellbeing and be entered into a prize draw.
The survey is part of a study conducted by researchers within the Department of Psychiatry. It aims to provide a better understanding of student mental health and wellbeing needs, how these change in time, and the perception of the support services in place.
If you choose to participate, you will need to fill in two questionnaires per academic year throughout your studies. Each questionnaire takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and includes questions about your background and experiences related to mental health. Your survey responses will be anonymised, and the data you share will only be accessed by the research team.
For each survey round you take part in, you will be entered into a prize draw where you could win an iPad, a £100 Love2Shop voucher, or a University of Southampton hoodie.
You can find the first survey of this academic year via the Your Voice SharePoint site.
For any questions about the survey you can contact the study team at [email protected].
If you would like to share your thoughts and feedback to help improve the student experience, check out the Your Voice SharePoint site, which features various surveys and studies open to students throughout the year.
