Academic Support Map and Transitions Toolkit reminder

As we start to see more life on campus with students returning, academic and support staff have seen an increase in queries from students regarding the support available.

There are two interactive toolkits available to you to that were developed as part of the University’s Enhancing Academic Support and Delivery project.

The Academic Support map that has been recently updated, lets you quickly identify relevant student support services from across all parts of the University and provides direct links to each of them by clicking on the relevant ‘station’.

The map is available for the entire University community, both staff and students, though it is primarily designed to be used by staff and Personal Academic Tutors in their support for students.

The Academic Transitions Support Toolkit signposts academics to a range of support materials and examples of good practice that are available to enhance students’ transition to studying on their programme at various touchpoints of their journey.

The toolkit is available for all staff, especially those involved in supporting student transitions. It is primarily designed to be used by Programme Leaders in developing their support for students.

Both toolkits can be found on the CHEP Resources SharePoint site.
