Invitation: join an experimental study to understand human performance under induced stress

Staff and students are invited to take part in a study to be carried out as part of a PhD project based in the School of Electronics and Computer Science.

The focus of the study by PhD student Lokesh Singh is in understanding how human performance is affected by agents (AI) performance and Induced time constraint-based stress. The study will be carried out in an in-person environment.

Participants should be:

  1. Aged between 18-50
  2. Able to participate in person

Participants should not be:

  1. Pregnant
  2. Taking medicine for depression or anxiety

Participants can attend any sessions at any of the times. Each session will last approximately 25-30 minutes.  A doodle poll link will be shared among interested participants to select a suitable time. This activity involves measuring individual performance.

Participants will be called to attend the in-person experiment at a designated place. The task and procedure will be explained by the researcher. It is a google sheet-based task. Participants will be asked to fill in questionnaires.

Sessions will be held from Tuesday 15 November 2022 and Friday 18 November 2022:
