Success on the Education Focused Promotion Pathway (in-person event)

This session is aimed at education-focused academic staff who are considering applying for promotion on the Education, Research and Enterprise (ERE) Education Pathway or the Balanced Pathway who have a significant education portfolio.

Join the Centre for Higher Education Practice (CHEP) and colleagues for this in-person workshop taking place in Building 100 on Wednesday 14 December 14:00 – 15:30 to explore how to succeed on the Education Promotion Pathway.

During the session colleagues who have been successfully promoted across different levels of the Education Promotion Pathway will share their experience and answer your questions.

By the end of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Understand how to develop and present their education portfolio using examples
  • Identify education focused activities that could contribute to achieving the assessment criteria of the academic promotion pathway
  • Reflect on how their education activity aligns to the levels of the promotion pathway
