Researchers will demonstrate how to ‘connect the dots’ between effective communications, successful funding applications, societal impact and career progress.
You’ll learn impactful communication tools and techniques used in academia, business and the dramatic arts.
Practice communicating vividly about research and its purpose using storytelling and shared experiences without confusing jargon to connect with all types of audiences.

Using your own case studies we will take you through the process from start to finish.
You’ll learn to create content that prioritises information and matches your language with your audience.
We’ll share tips on clear, compelling writing to support your overall message as well as the common errors to avoid.
