International Women’s Day 2023: #EmbraceEquity

International Women’s Day (also referred to as IWD) is a global day marked annually on March 8 to celebrate women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality.

This year’s theme #EmbraceEquity asks us to acknowledge that:

  • Equity isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a must have
  • Forging gender equity is not limited to women solely fighting the good fight. Allies are incredibly important for women’s social, economic, cultural, and political advancement.
  • Everyone has a part to play – each one of us can actively support and embrace equity within our own sphere of influence

Listen to some inspiring stories and thought provoking discussion from our community.
