Neurodiversity Celebration Week (13-19 March) is a time to celebrate differences and empower Neurodivergent members of our community, recognising the many strengths of being Neurodivergent.
As part of this year’s celebrations, we are inviting all students and staff to take part in a poster competition to help our community understand, value and celebrate the talents of Neurodivergent minds.
Guidance to take part
- The theme is ‘How I celebrate Neurodiversity’.
- Entries can be in the form of a poster, photograph, graphic, painting or picture, or any other form of media, provided it can be shared by email.
- We encourage you to include a short description of your piece – written or verbal – to explain the concept.
- Please only submit your own work and not that of another artist.
How to take part
- Please email your entry to [email protected] in a suitable format, and mark the email for the attention of the Student Disability and Inclusion Team.
- Include your name, course (students) or role (staff), and whether you would like to be credited for your work – you can remain anonymous if you wish.
- You have until midnight on Sunday 12 March to take part.
What happens next
- The winner will be chosen and contacted on Monday 13 March.
- The winner will receive a £20.00 Amazon voucher, and the poster will be showcased to our community as part of Neurodiversity Celebration Week on digital channels across the University.
- By entering, you give permission for the poster to be shared on external and internal channels at the University.
