Get involved in this year’s Active FestivALL 2023, taking place on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 March on Highfield Campus.
As part of the University’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) commitment to active lifestyles, Active FestivALL aims to be inclusive of all students and encourages you to get active, try something new and have fun for free!

What’s on
There are lots of activities and classes going on across the two days for you to enjoy. Check out the highlights below:
Friday 17 March
- Smoothie bicycles, 11:00-15:00, Jubilee Sports Centre
Work to make your very own free healthy fruit smoothie on a human-powered smoothie bike, offering a unique, fun, and environmentally friendly way to get your five-a-day.
- UV Pilates, 12:30-13:00, Jubilee Sports Centre
Join in this unique UV Pilates class featuring ultraviolet lights to make the room glow in the dark, while working on Pilates exercises and linking the moves together to form sequences.
- Inflatable pool party, 15:00-17:00, Jubilee Sports Centre
Bring your costume and towel, and head down to the inflatable pool party at the swimming pool. Featuring beach balls, volleyball sets, a pug-faced lounger, and music blasting. Bring your inner child and have fun.
Saturday 18 March
- Disc golf, 11:00-15:00, The Valley Gardens
Enjoy a day of fun and adventure at the disc golf event, combining the thrill of golf with the freedom of frisbee in The Valley Gardens. With holes set among natural obstacles, this is a challenge like no other.
- Party Zumba, 11:00-11:30, Jubilee Sports Centre
This Zumba® class takes the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style dance fitness party. Let the Latin and World rhythms take over.
- UV dodgeball, 20:00-21:30, SUSU Team Southampton Sports Hall
UV dodgeball is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a fast-paced, laughter-filled session with ultraviolet lights to light up the hall. Wear white if you want that extra glow!
