Invitation to join the Trans and Non-Binary Safe Listening Space

As we look forward to Trans Day of Visibility on Friday 31 March, the Pulse LGBT+ Staff Network invites staff and PGRs to join the Trans and Non-Binary Safe Listening Space on Wednesday 29 March, 11:00-12:00.

Trans Day of Visibility (TDoV) celebrates the accomplishments, contributions, and resilience of trans and gender non-conforming people. This year, the TDoV campaign is “I Am Enough.” The campaign aims to affirm and empower trans people and raise awareness and allyship among cis (non-trans) people.

Our Safe Listening Space provides an opportunity for a confidential, open discussion focused on lived experience in a safe environment. It will be held via Teams, and sessions will not be recorded to protect the confidentiality of attendees. Key themes from the session may be anonymously shared with the EDI team and staff network to support future work.

Awareness and allyship

Trans Day of Visibility is a great opportunity to learn more about what it means to be trans or gender non-conforming, and how to be an ally. We have lots of resources to help:
