Tuesday 18 April – The Pronunciation and Meaning of Chinese Names (in-person)

Learn how to pronounce your Chinese students’ names as well as understand their meaning.

Thursday 20 April – Finding your Balance – The Student Money Questionnaire 2023 results (online)

Explore the findings of the Student Money Questionnaire, identify how money confident students are and the impact financial uncertainty has on the student experience.

Monday 24 April – Maximising your delivery – voice, confidence and engagement during lectures (in-person)

Improve your delivery and maximise your voice in lectures using techniques to increase your vocal range, variety, clarity and reduce vocal strain.

Tuesday 25 April – Inclusive Education Practices: Techniques and Tips for Equitable Teaching and Learning (in-person)

Gain insights into identifying and supporting learners, discuss the significance of inclusive education practices, and design an inclusive learning experience.

 

Researcher / KEE focused

Tuesday 4 April – Making the most of Open Access publishing: Q&A (online)

Discussion on open access, funder policies, uploading your journal articles to the institutional repository, publisher deals and finding open access material.

Tuesday 18 April – Equitable International Research Partnerships: Lessons learned from the GCRF (in-person)

Join speakers from across the University and international partnerships as they share some of the lessons learned from the Global Challenges Research Funded (GCRF) projects.

Tuesday 25 April – What counts as KEE? Case studies from across the KEF perspectives (online)

Explore the diversity of KEE practice through case studies drawn from the 7 KEF perspectives, with invited speakers.

Wednesday 26 April – Embedding Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in your Policy Impact (online)

Run by the Public Policy Team this will deliver frameworks on including the principals of ED&I into policy recommendations.
