VC Awards 2023 – nominate a colleague

Nominations for the 2023 Vice-Chancellor’s Awards are open until Friday 5 May at 18:00 – nominate a team or individual, and help our community celebrate success. Watch past winners talk about what it means to be nominated.

These awards are an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the extraordinary contributions of our passionate and creative colleagues across all areas of the staff community.  Together we can learn more about the day-to-day excellence that embodies our community, and ensure the teams and individuals delivering exceptional work are recognised and celebrated for all they do.

Celebrating Success - Vice-Chancellor's Awards 2023

The 2023 Award categories are as follows:

Community and Wellbeing
Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
Inspiring Leadership
Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise
Making it Happen
Public Good and Social Mobility
Research Impact
Rising Star
Student Experience
Supporting Sustainability
Teaching
Triple Helix

Perhaps you know someone who is excellent at forging connections between education, research and knowledge exchange and enterprise, or is delivering impactful research that tackles the world’s most complex problems.  You might know a team who are delivering exceptional administrative, operational or technical support, or enhancing the life of the University through building a strong sense of community. If so, or if you have someone in mind who fits any of the categories above, please take a few minutes to submit a nomination.  You have 200 words to use, so tell us all about why they deserve to win.

You can find all you need to make a nomination on our Vice-Chancellor’s Awards SharePoint page.
