The University will be introducing improved bus travel between Winchester School of Art and Southampton campuses. Coming into effect at the start of the 2023/24 academic year, new Unilink and Bluestar bus services will run in place of the current shuttle bus service.
The new plans will not only contribute to the important goal of improving sustainability and the University’s environmental impact by reducing emissions, but it will also provide increased capacity and frequency, improved reliability, and additional and extended times in the mornings and evenings.
There will be various ticket options available, including day, Multi 5/10/20, 90-day, and annual passes, depending on your needs; and prices are expected to be based on current discounted student fares in partnership with Unilink.
For any students with financial concerns and may need support for the 2023/24 academic year, you will be able to submit an application for the Student Support Fund from October onwards. This fund aims to help those in unexpected financial hardship and relieve any stress and anxiety.
