Please be advised that on Saturday 27 May, Churchill Specialist Contracting will be attending Highfield campus to inspect the chimney exhaust vents on Building 29. It is estimated these works will take a full day, and during this time the road between Building 29 and Building 35 will be closed to vehicles.
Pedestrian access to Building 35, Building 35a and Building 30 will not be restricted. Building 29 will have restricted access to the southeast door and quad area only – there will be no restricted fire exits on any buildings in this area. There will be no pedestrian access to Hartley Avenue from this area and access to the Building 33 yard will be for pedestrians only. Peter Cornick, Repair Service Manager and Shane Parkes, Repair Service Contract Manager will be onsite supervising for the duration of the works.
