Following the successful roll-out of 26 hybrid meeting rooms, the Future Ways of Working programme has received funding to convert an additional 10 meeting rooms in 2022/23. The rooms were chosen collaboratively with iSolutions, Professional Services, and Faculties, considering acoustics and room usage, and ensuring that there is a spread of provision across the University. iSolutions are planning to convert a further 15 rooms in 23/24 using kit purchased by the Future Ways of Working programme.

In liaison with the faculties involved, the rooms will be refurbished between Monday 5 June and Friday 14 July 2023. Further communications have been sent out to the teams affected.
Training and guides
We are working with an external supplier to provide training sessions. Face-to-face training will be offered to those using the rooms. In addition, staff who would like to be included in hybrid training who might have missed last year’s training are also invited to sign up using this form. New online and in-room training resources are being developed for continued support of all 36 rooms. The iSolutions team have also provided helpful guidance on how to use the Teams Rooms devices already installed. There is also guidance on booking meeting room and shared desks.
