The fifth Meliora International Symposium of Student Sustainability is back for 2023. Part of the Sustainability and Resilience Institute, this event is open to all Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught students. Present your undergraduate or postgraduate research project and be in with a chance to win a Love2Shop voucher worth £250, £100 or £50 for the best presentations.
The Meliora Symposium will take place on Thursday 8 June 2023, from 10:00-15:00.
Students from across the UK, and around the world, will be presenting their research at this international symposium. Attendees can also submit their work for publication in the Meliora International Journal of Student Sustainability Research as part of a symposium special edition.
The focus of the symposium is the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Get involved
We are looking for students to be involved in the Symposium in one or more of the following ways:
- Present your dissertation (Final year UG or MSc students), or be part of a theme discussion (all years) at the Symposium
- Become a Meliora ambassador and help promote the Symposium (all years)
- Attend the Symposium (all years)
For any (or all) of the above, you can apply by filling out the Meliora Symposium form to indicate your interest in participation. Time commitments will vary in ambassador roles, but we will work efficiently, with your coursework and exam revision in mind.
This event is a great opportunity to further your interest in sustainability, whilst gaining valuable experience for your CV.
If you are keen to register to attend the symposium, or want to find out more, you can get tickets on Eventbrite.
