Start the summer right this year and join the University and SUSU from Wednesday 7 – Friday 9 June at Summer Festival 2023. It is a great chance for you to celebrate the end of the exams and assessment period, and the academic year. Get in the summer spirit and get involved. Check out what’s on below:
The line-up this year is filled with delicious, fun activities, designed to get you moving and active. Highlights include the return of the unmissable 3km Colour Fun Run, and the Foam Party – a post exams de-stress at the Cube. With foam, drinks and all your favourite songs, it’s the perfect way to party. We also have Stag’s Karaoke, a Night market in The Bridge, live music, and a community picnic in the sun.
The Colour Fun Run: the main event
Following a successful event last year, the Colour Fun Run is returning this Summer Festival with even more on offer. Run, jog, walk, skip, or hop at your own pace, and join in on the fun at the start line by grabbing your colour packet when you register!
If you aren’t sure about doing the run, don’t worry – there will be plenty of activities on the day, including music, inflatables, giant lawn games, and an ice cream van. There will be free transport options available for you on the day. Don’t miss out, book your ticket for the Colour Fun Run on Eventbrite now.
