If you find yourself in a position where your work or assessments are negatively affected by illness or other exceptional circumstances outside of your control, the Special Considerations process is your way of letting us know.
It allows us to determine whether there is sufficient evidence that this has impacted your academic performance.
Deadline reminder
You should usually make a request within five working days of the impacted assessment or exam, but no later than Monday 12 June 2023. Please note, the 12 June deadline does not apply to students from the Faculty of Medicine or School of Health Sciences.

Make sure you carefully read the Special Considerations guidance on the website before starting an application. The guidance includes examples of circumstances which may or may not be accepted, and supporting information you need to apply.
