MyView, the University’s employee and manager self-service portal, has successfully migrated to the cloud and is ready for you to use.
To access MyView, please use the new link: https://soton.hcm.zellis.com/myview/.
Unlike the old MyHR system, MyView is single sign-on login, using your University IT account, so you no longer need to enter your security answers or date of birth, but you will need to have Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) set up on your account. If you’re accessing MyView from the UK, or our Malaysia campus, there is no longer a requirement to use a VPN. However, for cyber security reasons, overseas you will need to access via VPN, as you do now. MyView benefits
MyView modernises MyHR Dashboard. Much of it will be familiar, but being cloud-based we are able to provide additional functionality as the software supplier delivers it.
Immediate benefits include:
- Single sign-on.
- MyView mobile App to access MyView on your phone or tablet.
- Authorisation from Outlook 365 for managers, without needing to log in to MyView.
- Improved payslip display and printing.

Email notifications
Notifications via email to you and your manager will now be from [email protected] so please ensure you take note and action as soon as possible. Although emails from this account have been whitelisted to ensure they are not sent to Spam, if you experience any loss of emails please check your Spam folder and contact ServiceLine to advise.
Next developments
At the end of the summer, we will introduce a new Leave Management system for employees and managers. This new calendar-based module is simple to use, fewer clicks, and more information on a page. We will let you know when it is available with a link to the support guide page.
