Yesterday, our Vice-Chancellor Professor Mark E. Smith announced the shortlist for the 2023 VC Awards in an all-staff email.
Over 390 colleagues were nominated for an award this year, showcasing the extraordinary contributions of our colleagues across all areas of the staff community, whose creativity, passion and outstanding skills bring our strategy to life. Congratulations to all those nominated, and a special well done to everyone who made it through the shortlisting process to become one of our 2023 finalists. You can read the shortlist below.

The Awards
- The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 5 October 2023 at St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton.
- We’ll share the results with you on SUSSED the following day, with a round-up of the evening in the November edition of Staff Matters.
