Applications for the Royal Society University Research Fellowship are now open.
The Research Funding Development (RFD) team is coordinating central support for applicants. A Briefing Session was held on Thursday 20 July 2023, 12:00 – 13:00 to highlight the support available for potential candidates. The team invites you to join our second session in the series: Meet the Awardees/Panellists Session on Tuesday 1 August, 12:00-13:00.
Research and Innovation Services invites potential applicants to Royal Society URF 2024 to hear from URF awardees and panellists from previous rounds about their insights into the application process and what makes a strong proposal. The session will highlight good practices when applying to the Royal Society URF scheme.
The Royal Society University Research Fellowship is a prestigious and generous fellowship that awards up to £1.83m across an eight-year project, with a minimum salary of £51,000.
Candidates will need agreement and support from their Head of School to make an application, so should be engaging in these discussions with their research leadership teams.
The support offered by RFD is available to help candidates work through the process of making their application of their award, which has a deadline of Thursday 7 September.
Other upcoming sessions include Costings & WorkTribe and Demonstrating Leadership & EDI.
