The University has been awarded almost £1million to support student mobility as part of this year’s Turing Scheme – a UK Government run programme to provide funding for international opportunities in education.
The funding amount is over double what we received last year and will enable activities across our faculties including:
- Year Abroad and Semester Abroad opportunities
- Work placements abroad
- International internships
- Partner Summer Schools
- Medical Electives
- Health Science clinical placements
- The Social Impact Lab (Spark Ghana and SPARK India)
- Post graduate research placements within both Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Faculty of Social Sciences
- Careers and Employability placements (work and volunteering)
You can find out more information about the experiences of our students who have taken these opportunities on the Study Abroad and Exchange blog.
