Take part in a survey about introducing technological support to the A&E triage process

The Transportation Research Group invite you to participate in our groundbreaking research survey conducted by the University of Southampton in collaboration with the University of York. We want to capture your valuable insights as a potential user of Accident and Emergency Departments (A&E) regarding the current A&E triage process.

Our research team is exploring the use of digital technology, including artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, to revolutionise the hospital emergency room experience. We are developing the Diagnostic AI System for Robot-Assisted A&E Triage (DAISY) to support medical professionals in triaging patients, reducing waiting times, and easing the administrative load.

By participating, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of emergency room care and improving patient outcomes. Your perspectives will help refine this innovative approach, potentially transforming processes in emergency departments of the future. The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes and involves a demographic survey, a technology usage questionnaire, and questions about interacting with an automated check-in service and the DAISY automated triage/assessment process. If you wish, you can enter a prize draw for a chance to win one of five £50 Amazon shopping vouchers. Your email address, if provided, will be deleted after the draw and not used for future contact.
