74% of UK adults have felt so stressed at some point over the last year they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope. It’s vitally important that line managers can complete a wellbeing risk assessment to support their staff to manage stress at work. Our Stress Risk Assessment Training for Line Managers session is hosted on Teams so you can join remotely and it only takes two and a half hours.
Led by Wellbeing Officer Katie Coultas, this course has been designed to provide line managers with an understanding of what to consider in regard to wellbeing and provides a walkthrough of how to complete a Wellbeing Risk Assessment.
The training will help to provide managers with a basic knowledge of:
- the type of work activity their employees undertake and how this could impact their wellbeing
- the early signs of adverse wellbeing
- the implications to health if wellbeing risk is not adequately controlled
- how to assess the risk
- what type of control measures can be implemented
- how these controls can be monitored to check that they are successful or not
- what to do when an employee’s health deteriorates
