Help us cheer on Engineering PGR Katherine Theobald in the 3 Minute Thesis national finals

You may have seen in September’s Staff Matters that second-year Engineering PGR Katherine Theobald has made it through to this year’s 3 Minute Thesis® national final, taking place on Friday 15 September

The Doctoral College are hosting a watch party on Friday, so staff and students can come together to cheer Katherine on as the results of the final are announced.

3 Minute Thesis® is an international competition which challenges PGRs to present their research to a general audience in only three minutes. Katherine was the overall winner of the University 3 Minute Thesis® final back in June, with her presentation ‘Shaken not Stirred: the impact of vibration on medical goods transported by drone’.

The watch party is taking place from 11:45-12:45 in Lecture Room 1023, Building 58 (Murray). Refreshments will be available, and attendees are asked to kindly RSVP to help with catering planning.

If you can’t make the watch party, you can watch the final online by registering with Vitae.

Congratulations Katherine – wishing you the best of luck for the finals!
