Southampton Institute for Arts and Humanities (SIAH) Knowledge Exchange

In 2020-21 the Faculty of Arts and Humanities launched the Southampton Institute for Arts and Humanities (SIAH). SIAH has again been given a Knowledge Exchange allocation fund by SEB (Southampton Enterprise Board). This is funded by the Higher Education Innovation Fund (HEIF) and aims to support knowledge exchange activities with a view to developing large and innovative projects and initiatives. Our allocation is intended to stimulate new areas of research and enterprise activity using arts and/or humanities methods and findings. Applications from staff in any Faculty are welcome.

All areas of research and enterprise that involve knowledge exchange and take forward work in the fields of arts and/or humanities are eligible for support. You can find information about the projects supported by SIAH and HEIF on the Institute’s ‘Our Projects’ pages.

Applications are invited for awards of £3,000 to £15,000. The deadline for applications is 16:00 on Monday 30 October 2023.

If you would like to learn more about the projects previously funded by SIAH or if you would like to talk to an Institute Director about applying for this next round of funding, please come along to the SIAH “Super Showcase” taking place on Friday 22 September, 12:00 – 17:00 at the Hartley Suite. Please complete this registration form to attend.
