The ‘Introduction to doctoral supervision’ eLearning course is available and updated for 2023/24 to reflect the changes to the Regulations for Research Degrees and Code of Practice for Research Degree Candidature and Supervision.
The course takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

- Understanding of the expectations of postgraduate researchers (PGRs), how these may differ from your own expectations and how to manage this dynamic
- Understanding of the other resources that are available to support you and the PGR to succeed
