On Friday 1 December 2023, our popular Festive Family Event returns to Highfield Campus for another year. Staff and students with young children are invited to join us for a magical afternoon of crafts, activities and music.
This year’s event will run from 16:00-19:00 and is the perfect way to start the festive season, with a magic show, free refreshments including hot chocolate and a seasonal snack, face painting, crafts, and of course the opportunity to sit down and enjoy Storytime with Santa (limited tickets).
There will also be live music, plenty of photo opportunities, and a range of additional food and drinks available to purchase.

It is important to us that our Festive Family event is inclusive and accessible to all. We are offering shorter and more relaxed visits with Santa and will also have a Relaxed Room available with quieter activities and crafts. These sessions may be particularly suited to families where a parent, carer or child is disabled or neurodivergent. This event is for the families of staff, students, alumni and supporters of the University of Southampton. Our whole community is welcome, regardless of faith or cultural heritage.
