24/7 help and support
As you may know, The Student Hub is your first point of contact for questions and concerns relating to fees, financial support, accommodation, wellbeing, disability, careers, and course administration. No matter the query, the friendly advisors understand the difficulties of student life and are happy to help you access the support you need – so don’t hesitate to ask. Specialist support
You can access specialist wellbeing or disability support via The Student Hub – simply get in touch, and our advisors will point you in the right direction and talk to you about the next steps. Examples of things our specialist staff can help you with include:
- Providing a safe space to talk.
- Supporting you to access further wellbeing support at the University and from external services.
- Discussing strategies to manage your wellbeing in stressful times.
- Offering support and coaching around sleep, diet, and exercise.
- Supporting you to deal with practical issues, such as money, accommodation and advice on appropriate support services.
- Support if you are experiencing sexual harassment, harassment, bullying, violence or abuse.
- Helping you to access specialist workshops if you have autism, ADHD or are awaiting a diagnosis.
- Helping you to access the Disabled Student Allowance.

Financial support

The SUSU Advice Centre
The Southampton University Students’ Union (SUSU) Advice Centre provides free, independent and confidential advice and information on practical matters such as housing, finance, and academic issues.
