Members/eligible members of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) have until 17:00 on Friday 24 November to submit their feedback about proposed changes to the scheme.
If you are a member/eligible member of the USS and have not received information about the consultation, with a link to the consultation website, please contact [email protected].
If you want to find out more about USS developments, pensions expert Brendan Mulkern is today running a final session about the USS 2023 valuation process and potential implications for members. The link to today’s session can be found below:

You do not have to book the session – please use the appropriate Teams link above to join on the day.
Brendan Mulkern’s background
Brendan has been involved in the management and administration of workplace pensions for over 30 years, with pension schemes like the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and USS (up to 2016, he was head of policy for the USS trustee company). Brendan has spoken to many scheme member audiences, and aims to bring a helpful clarity, fairness and balance to his presentations.
We recognise this is an important subject for USS members and eligible members, and look forward to seeing you at one of the briefings and hearing your feedback.
*Please note, this session has been moved from the original date of Monday 20 November to Tuesday 21 November to allow colleagues who don’t work on Mondays to attend.
