Wednesday 6 December – Uni-wide Transition Network meeting
This network provides a community of practice for academic and professional staff with an interest in student transition to studying at University.
7 and 21 December – PREP drop-in Sessions (in-person)
Informal sessions that can be used to carve out space for writing, ask questions about your application or talk about your portfolio.
Tuesday 13 December – Opening academic skills ‘windows’ in your teaching: Essays, arguments & structure
Discover short activities to develop your students’ argumentation and structuring skills for essay writing.
Wednesday 13 December – Advancing your education portfolio
Practical examples to develop your educational portfolio in a way that complements the ‘day job’, supporting enhanced effectiveness as well as enhancing the CV.
Thursday 14 December – PAT Training: Managing your wellbeing as a PAT
Listen to case studies on how to handle traumatic and sensitive information about our students.
