The Home Office has announced that the increase to the Immigration Health Surcharge will be effective from 16 January 2024 or later.
The Immigration Health Surcharge, payable as part of a UK visa and immigration application, will increase as follows:
- Student visa route – £776 per year
- For example, £2,328 for a 3-year visa
- All other visa applications (including Skilled Worker and Global Talent) – £1,035 per year
- For example, £3,105 for a 3-year visa
The amount to be paid by the applicant depends on the length of the visa and where the application is made. This fee is in addition to the visa and immigration application fees, which also increased from 4 October 2023.
