“A journey into cancer immunology: how Southampton is leading the way” event (online)

Register now for an online event on Wednesday 24 January – “A Journey into Cancer Immunology: How Southampton is Leading the Way”.  The event will focus on world-leading cancer immunology research at the University of Southampton.

During this event, experts from the University’s Centre for Cancer Immunology will share highlights of their research.  Learn about the incredible impact of this work through the story of a former patient and find out how generous donations from alumni, staff, students and supporters are helping to train the next generation of cancer scientists.

Event host Mark Cragg, Professor of Experimental Cancer Biology, will be joined by Tim Fenton, Associate Professor in Cancer Biology, and James Christian, PhD in Cancer Immunology.  Mark, Tim and James will talk about the incredible work taking place at the Centre and their exciting research into innovative new treatments, such as cancer vaccines.  You will also hear from Charlotte Moss, a former cancer patient, who took part in an immunotherapy trial and has now been cancer-free for over a decade.
