Shaun Williams, Executive Director Engagement & Advancement, has announced he will be retiring from the University in June 2024, after seven years at Southampton. The recruitment for a successor will start in the New Year.
Professor Mark E. Smith, President and Vice-Chancellor, commented: “I am deeply grateful to Shaun for his tremendous contribution to the University, for his highly tuned sensitivity towards a wide range of issues which impact on a university, which was highlighted by his very thoughtful and careful crafting of key leadership messages during the pandemic, and for his wise counsel to UEB on many issues. He will be much missed”
