Editors from The Conversation will be running further media training sessions for University of Southampton academics in 2024.
The two-hour sessions, hosted on Zoom, will take place on Monday 19 February and Thursday 23 May.
The Conversation is an open access news analysis and opinion website with content written by academics working with professional journalists.
The interactive session will cover what The Conversation is; why you should communicate your research to the public; The Conversation’s collaborative editorial process; and tips on style, structure, and how to pitch.
There will be opportunities to discuss your research with a Conversation editor, and to pitch potential story ideas.
