Sabu Padmadas, Professor of Demography and Global Health in the Faculty of Social Sciences, was awarded the 2023 International Achiever’s Award at the Eurasia Business Summit, held at the Houses of Parliament in London on 24 November.
The International Achiever’s Award is presented by the Indian Achievers’ Forum, which is a platform which engages in developing and sharing ideas, opinions and knowledge on key issues, in response to the rapid growth and development of the Indian economy.
The Indian Achievers’ Forum recognises the work of social entrepreneurs and successful models of the society and corporate sector partnership, focusing on how successful achievers can help the social & economic infrastructural development in and around India.
As part of this work, the awarding of the International Achiever’s Award aims to promote and encourage non-resident Indians who have done exceptional work for the betterment, growth & development of the Indian diaspora in any country across the globe.
Professor Padmadas was presented with the award in acknowledgment of “his commitment to noble endeavours and his remarkable accomplishments in upholding the pride of India”.
