4 & 18 January – PREP drop-in Sessions B58/R4121 (in-person)
These informal sessions can be used to carve out space for writing, to ask questions about your application or talk about your portfolio.
Friday 5 January – Student Money Questionnaire 23/24 results
Understand the work of the Financial Support Team and their role in assisting students struggling financially to remain in education.
Wednesday 24 January – Opening academic skills ‘windows’ in your teaching (in-person)
This in-person session will demonstrate 3-5 short critical thinking activities to integrate into your regular subject teaching.
Tuesday 30 January – An Introduction to Learning and Teaching in Higher Education
Start developing your education practice and gain support on how to manage your education role/s (however big or small).

Every Monday and Thursday – Power Hour of Writing
If you have something to write, or even a task to complete to support your writing, but you just can’t find the time or motivation, this could be the space you need.
Thursday 11 January – REF 2029: Overview and implications for Soton
An opportunity to gain valuable insights into the upcoming REF 2029 and our preparations.
Friday 19 January – Writing for public audiences: THE Campus workshop and retreat (in-person)
Hone skills in writing for public audiences by producing an article for Campus, a new media platform for the academic community from Times Higher Education (THE).
Wednesday 24 January – Public Policy|Southampton: Engaging with International Organisations
Understand how two the University engages with two key organisations, WHO and UNFCCC.
