Philip Leverhulme Prizes 2024 briefing session

The Research Funding Development team will host a briefing session for UoS researchers interested in applying to the Philip Leverhulme Prizes 2024 on 24 January, 13:00-14:00, on Microsoft Teams. This event will provide useful information on the Philip Leverhulme Prizes and the application process in place at UoS.

Philip Leverhulme Prizes recognise the achievement of outstanding researchers whose work has already won international recognition and whose future is exceptionally promising. Prizes offer £100,000 over two or three years and may be used for any purpose that advances the prize winner’s research, with the following exceptions: salary costs for the prize winner, capital costs, and institutional overheads.

In 2024, the Trust is inviting applications from researchers working in the following subject areas:

  • Classics
  • Earth Sciences
  • Physics
  • Politics and International Relations
  • Psychology
  • Visual and Performing Arts

At the end of the scheme presentation, there will be time for Q&A.
