Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise (KEE) Academic Professional Development Programme 2024

2024 brings in a brand-new programme of Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise (KEE) academic professional development activities and self-directed resources at the University of Southampton.

Centre for Higher Education Practice (CHEP) KEE Community of Practice

The CHEP KEE Community of Practice was set up in 2022 and there are 306 members currently. It is used as a discussion forum as well as a promotional tool for activities and events related to Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise. Any staff member at the University of Southampton is welcome to join this network regardless of their career pathway.

Academic Professional Development Workshops

The monthly programme of KEE events covers a range of topics requested by KEE Community of Practice members, as well opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange projects.

The first online event of the year, Introducing KEE: Definitions, Policy and the UoS KE Strategy takes place on 6 February from 14.00 – 15:30. This is a great opportunity to focus on the University of Southampton’s KE strategy, as well as discussing KE terminology and connections to broader policy.

Speakers include: Di Galpin, Director of Enterprise and KE, Research and Innovation Services and Mike Hampton, Programme Manager, Change Portfolio Office.

You can sign up for this event using Staffbook.

NEW CHEP KEE Development Hub

2024 also sees the launch of the CHEP KEE Development Hub. This site includes information on KE definitions, policy and strategy, case studies and connections to Enterprise Pathways and KE funding. Resources help signpost staff to materials, links and services supporting KE activities.
