It’s Time to Talk Day

Today (1st February) is Time to Talk Day, the nation’s biggest mental health conversation organised by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness. Happening every year, it’s a day for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk, listen, and change lives.

The more we talk about mental health, the more comfortable it can be for colleagues to share their experiences, so they aren’t struggling on their own.

We recently shared stories from staff members who spoke about their mental health struggles and how they look after themselves. Dan spoke about the mental health issues he had experienced from a young age, and Stephen spoke about how he manages his anxiety and depression.

If you want to use the event to spark a conversation with your staff, you can download the resource pack here, which includes posters, graphics, and activities.

You can find out more about mental health, events, and support available on the Health and Wellbeing Sharepoint.
