Members of PASNAS, the University of Southampton Retirement Fund (USRF) and the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) are invited to attend a workshop and Q&A session about their pension scheme, run by pensions expert Brendan Mulkern in February and March.
In the sessions, Brendan Mulkern will provide an overview of the key features and benefits of being a member in each of the pension schemes.
A bit more about the pension schemes
USS – Level 4 and above members of staff may be members of the USS scheme. You are welcome to attend a session about USS if you are level 4 and above and not already a member of USS.
PASNAS – Closed to new joiners. This session is to provide current active members of the scheme with a better understanding on how the scheme works.
USRF – Replaced PASNAS as the occupational scheme for members of staff who are level 1 – 3.

Recording – a recording of the PASNAS, USRF and USS sessions will be made and posted on SUSSED.
Transcript – a transcript of the PASNAS, USRF and USS sessions will also be posted on SUSSED and sent to managers to distribute/pin on noticeboards in areas where staff do not have computers.
