Workload Principles project update

In spring last year, we informed staff of the launch of the Workload Principles Project, which is now well underway.

Workload principles update

We had an excellent response to our call for registrations of interest and the written feedback form, with nearly 350 colleagues providing feedback during the first phase of the project. The feedback received helped the project team write the first draft of the Workload Principles. We would like to thank the University community for the time they have given to the project so far.

We are now looking forward to our second phase of the project, engagement. The project team will be holding face to face workshops in March to provide the opportunity for feedback on the draft of the Workload Principles. Workshops will also be held in April to discuss how these principles could be implemented across the University once finalised.

How to get involved

If you would like to take part in the next phase of the project and attend either set of workshops, please fill out this expression of interest form and register your interest. The closure date for expressions of interest is 1 March 2024 and the deadline for registering your interest for the 4 March workshop is 21 February.  If there is sufficient interest, then we will also schedule an additional online session and be in touch with those who have indicated they would like to attend on the expression of interest form.

If you’d like to volunteer, please complete this form by Friday 1 March to register your interest.

As before, there will also be the opportunity to complete a written feedback form which will be available on the SharePoint site from 4 March.
